I'm out to Most family or friends Religion A blend of many. Fave Music Alt. Rock, Folk, a little bit of everything, really. Fave Films United States of Leland, Da Vinci Code, Imagine Me and You, Lost and Delirious, Little Miss Sunshine, Juno, Lord of the Rings, Crash, King of California, many more Fave TV Buffy, Angel, Alias, lots of random travel/adventure/survival shows. Colleen's own words 16th August 2009, 10:51am My name's Colleen and I'm a 20-year-old college student from Oregon. I'm currently an Anthropology major with a double minor in French and Journalism. I want to do something important with my life, something meaningful, something that will help others in a tangible way. I also long for travel, for adventure, for a life like a character in a fairy tale. I'll fight as hard as I can to find that something, but I've yet to figure out what that "something" will be. I try to be a very nice person; I don't see any point in adding any more rudeness and cruelty to the world. I firmly believe that there is good in everyone, even if it's not their most prominent quality, lol, and that I (and anyone else) can do whatever they put their minds to if they work hard enough. I believe that even the darkest of times can be survived, and that my own darkest times are some of the most valuable of my life, because they've made me infinitely stronger. I get scared a lot more than I'd ever admit, but after years of letting my fear and self-consciousness stop me, I've just decided to ignore it and go after the things I want anyway. I don't like being weak, and I don't like relying on others (even when I should), although I very much like helping others when they need it. I've been told I'm good at giving advice, and I use that gift whenever I feel it might be prudent. I'm a very optimistic person, really, except when it comes to a few things, like my love life, lol. I'm very philosophical, often pondering the deeper meanings of things. I'm extremely independent, hate being held to abstract rules I don't understand or agree with, and try my hardest to be reliable, trustworthy, and honest, because I've been let down too many times to do that to someone else intentionally. I'm kinda crazy; I love adrenaline sports like white water rafting and snowboarding, and I've done things like skydiving (the first time I was ever in a plane, I jumped out of it). I love every second of it. :) Well ... that's about the best I can do. Hope you've enjoyed my bio. If you made it all the way through, congratulations, and here is chocolate for you. :D For anyone who wants it please PM for my AIM ID. I'm happy to chat with people when I'm on AIM. :D Hi, uh ... remember me?by Colleen (all) Fri 12 Sep 08, 10:18AM 27 responsesHey, everyone! Well, for those of you who remember me, I'm back after an extended hiatus during which I would occasionally pop in, promise to be around more often, then disappear again. It does seem that in my absence, a lot of new faces have appeared and a lot of old ones don't seem to be around ...Colleen on QA Forums
