Profile: Kaitlyn (Yogibare)

Hello all ! My name is Kaitlyn and I'm a singer/songwriter from Chicago. I've been singing since I could talk and have been training for 6 years. I also play guitar and ukulele. I guess you could say I'm into music! The struggles that I've had with my sexuality have inspired many songs and poems that I've written. It feels good to translate such negative feelings into such a positive medium. I am currently out as "Bisexual" but i'm pretty much a lesbian. I recently heard the term "pansexual" and thought it was a cool idea that love has no genitalia. I believe that with all my heart, but as far as physical attraction goes, I find it much easier to admire a woman than a man. I LOVE kids--I work with them non-stop! I teach swim lessons and volunteer in the pediatric unit at Lutheran General. I also love to talk to people and hear about their lives so if anyone ever needs an ear I'm here to listen!
