What d'ya all think of the whole 'new boyfriend' thing? I just hope it wont cause upset to the gay community if they take things a bit too far...but it should be good (and it will help people become on the road to acceptance in our society ;) )

CORONATION STREET... yes, i actually do rather like it, but, being from new zealand, we are a billion light years behind everywhere else in episodes, so i didnt' even know that todd was leaving. Oh well, easy come easy go. todds hot... lol. exciting about shawn and his boyfriend tho, and a big step for sitcoms!!

not sure how comfortable it'll be seeing a gay relationship on screen over dinner, with my parents sitting next to me, when I'M NOT OUT! Oh well. We'll see... maybe I won't be in for much longer?

Yeah thats the annoying thing...watching gay guys/girls/issues on TV with your parents sitting right next to you...*gulp*....whether youve come out to them or not, you cant help but to feel the tension and the thoughts and opinions running through their minds...

Yeah...i wonder that too....although being straight isnt really a controversial taboo so i dont think someone would probably feel as awkward being straight with for example a straight sex scene on TV...idk...one of my m8s gets embarrased when it happens (hes striaght) but then again...he gets embarassed at anything lol
