I Got interrogate by the US Border agents as I crossed down south today!!
In their defense, I'm 18 driving somebody else's new 'sports' car and only crossing the border for a few hours, easily suspected that I could be running drugs.
I got fingerprinted and then led to an interrogation room where they wanted to know my whole family history, my whole financial history, my current financial situation, my current living status, why am i unemployed, what my plans are for the future, why am i only crossing for a few hours, really everything about me.
so as i was leaving the room, the agent handed me a piece of paper and said give it to the agents outside and they will search your car. i went outside and handed them the piece of paper and they said to me "the exit is to your left at the end of the building. Have a good day sir". I think he wanted to see my reaction when he said they were going to search my car
A proof is a proof. What kind of proof? Its a proof. A proof is a proof. And when you have a good proof, its because its proven. - Jean Cretien

I relized how confused I really am about my sexuality
Let us not look back in anger or forward in fear, but around in awareness.
Peace is not the absence of conflict but the presence of creative alternatives for responding to conflict -- alternatives to passive or aggressive responses, alternatives to violence.

The president of my fraternity was really drunk and said that he doesn't really like me, but he thinks I'm pretty cool. I'm just pissed that, although I have a really crazy social life and have a lot of friends, that virtually none of them are the kind of friend that is always there and really, truly gives a shit about you. No one really knows who I actually am.

Everything
Here’s what I know about the realm of possibility—it is always expanding, it is never what you think it is. Everything around us was once deemed impossible. From the airplane overhead to the phones in our pockets to the choir girl putting her arm around the metalhead. As hard as it is for us to see sometimes, we all exist within the realm of possibility. Most of the limits are of our own world’s devising. And yet, every day we each do so many things that were once impossible to us.

Life.
The fact that I broke down into hysterics in front of my entire science class didn't help much, either.
"You musn't be afraid of the dark," he said, gently grasping my arm and making me shudder. "Night is purer than day; it is better for thinking and loving and dreaming. At night everything is more intense, more true. The echo of words that have been spoken during the day takes on a new and deeper meaning. The tragedy of man is that he doesn't know how to distinguish between day and night. He says things at night that should only be said by day." - Elie Wiesel, Dawn

The fact that I don't have a car, so even though I'm legally an adult now, I have as much freedom as a 15 year old, getting rides from parents and the occasional friend. And since nowhere will hire me (ironically enough because I'm TOO smart, and no one wants to hire a girl who's going off to college in a few months), I can't get any money to buy a car, either. Not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things, but after two years of this, I'm really frakkin' sick of it, lol.

Oppression, you shall learn to fear me
Yes you will."

OK. SO.
THIS BITCH... Hmmm, I shouldn't start that way. This WHORE stood behind me in the Guess-How-Many-Gumballs-There-Are-In-The-Jar-And-You-Win-It game at my school carnival. I calculated it PERFECTLY and wrote 241... the answer was 251. She waited for me to leave and then wrote 242... Yeah, seriously. She was HOVERING and MOOCHING my SKILLS and then WON the JAR of GUM BALLS. And I had to DELIVER them to her.
I should've shot her. Right in the foot. I'm sorry, that's just such a bitch move.
My day was great over-all, though
