Topic: Results Day!

So as everyone in the UK (hopefully) knows, tomorrow's the results day for A-Level students, and then next Thursday is GCSEs'.
How is everyone feeling leading up to it? What're you hoping/expecting to get?
I'm getting my AS results tomorrow. Not HUGELY worried, but I'm pretty nervous for my Drama grade, since I have a little bit of a point to prove to one of my teachers and want to defy the odds and get an A xD

Im awaiting my GCSE results for:
Science (Unit 3) - We has a unit 3 exam first then unit 2 for some strange reason. I felt the unit 3 exam went very bad (but not that bad) ill definitely pass, but a C just isnt good at all for me, got an A in unit 1
Science (Unit 2) - Went better than Unit 3, but I dont know!
Maths - In the first maths exam got a B, was devastated! I want a good mark this time, checked the math paper the day after the exam and im secured a high mark, just how high! and what grade
English - Everything we have done in english, (assessments ect.), I have gotten nothing but A*s, the most marks I have dropped this year is 2 marks in everything, so I dont want this exam to drag that down
Drama - If i get a good grade I will NEVER have to do GCSE Drama Theory again! EXCITING! I hopefully did well, aiming for an A, a B'll do!
Religious Studies - I got an A in the mock, me and 2 others got that in the entire class, 5 peole got Bs and Cs the rest failed. hahaha, so hopefully Ill get a good mark
GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND EVERYONE WHO POSTS ON HERE, I HOPE Y'ALL DO WELL!!! JUST A MATTER OF TIME
Interviewer: According to you, the girls run the world - but what do you think about the girls and the gays teaming up and running the world together?
Beyoncé: Well, that's what I meant when I said girls. (Laughs)

I think i've done alright tbh, I'm hoping for 2 A's and a B so I will get good predicted marks for uni! and @shakeel when I did GCSE R.E I failed my mock and then was the only one to get an A* at the proper exam, pretty proud of myself ;)

GCSE's:
English Language: Pretty sure i got an A*/A.
English Literature: Mehh A/B.
Maths: Definitely a C.
French: Could go either way really don't know B/C.
Drama: Either A/B.
Art: I'm pretty sure I got a solid B.
History: God knows this could be either a B/C/D. :/
Core Science: B/C.
I did all 3 sciences but only the first unit for each so I only got 1 GCSE for them. :/
I think I did pretty well i did so shit in my mocks that I worked mega hard although I'm sure my mocks were more difficult than the actual exam, how was it for you guys?

Okay, I guess it's a stupid question (but forgive me, please, I'm not from the UK originally)... How much do A-levels/predicted grades matter in university admission?

@ Russland
Most universities give you an offer based on the grades you get at A level. Applicants have to submit a personal statement as well, and sometimes have to attend an interview. But A level grades are usually the most important part of the application.
I hope everyone's got the grades they needed, and good luck to everyone getting their GCSE results next week!

@Emma
Thanks! I want to apply to universities here and I'm now trying to assess my chances, considering I know my results already (only 5 places on the application is so little!).
And, good luck to everyone! So quiet here...

A2 results. Wow! I was not expecting what happened today - I thought I had AAB or ABB and was going to study Biology
But got the shock of my life when I got A*AA instead
Plus an E in General Studies
Newcastle Medical School, here I come!
Despite some cold feet about the course, I hope I'll be really happy, and I love the city! If I hate it, I'll either have to try for an internal transfer to Biology, or re-apply
I'm very happy, but so exhausted. Up since 5 with very little sleep
Congratulations and/or hugs to everyone who got results today and good luck to the GCSE students

Happy with my results, got A (Maths), two Bs (Music and Music Technology) and C (Drama). The C in Drama was pretty much because the course was rubbish and not well-taught (I had to do it at another school because of the way the timetables worked - I'd much rather have done it at my own school), and so I think I'm dropping that for next year.
Good luck for all the GCSE students for next week
