First you need to give her time, she really needs time to muddle through this, I'm in the same situation with a different age gap, but what she needs now is to let it settle in, keep talking to her like hows her days, how does she feel so on. Then once she has time to cope and make her way through it ask how she feels how about, and then just keep everything friendly, I know it's hard but, if you really love her and she is willing to wait for you just play along. I know it's a long way to that stage where you're legal, I'm 14 too and Zeus knows how much I hate waiting. But right now all she needs is time to absorb it. I hope that helped you atleast a little bit

If I had a penny every time I thought of you, I'd be a millionaire.
My imaginary friend thinks you have some serious problems.

Five years difference really isn't that big a deal in the long-term, it's actually pretty common to have age gaps regardless of sexuality...I know a happy established hetero couple with 4 kids who are actually 15 years apart in age...the older you get, the less significant differences in age become.
When you are only 14 though, it might be a little weird still... and it would be kinda illegal for her to do anything of a sexual nature with you...the age of consent is 16 in Massachusetts, 17 in Illinois...but there's no reason you two can't be internet friends in the meantime if you and her can both accept waiting.
