I'm pleased to let everyone know that we are again looking to welcome new moderators on to the QA staff team.
If you're interested, please apply! Some things to note...- The role description and mod charter are linked below - read them and mention them in your application.
- You need two members to "propose" your application. You must ask people you already know to do this. Asking randomly (e.g. by PMs, forums, chat, Facebook, etc) is not allowed.
- All staff will review your application and make a group decision, however only myself and Grum will be able to see the information about your real name and identity.
- We may or may not hold online "interviews" to help narrow down our list of applicants.
- If you've applied before but haven't been successful, please feel free to try again, but think about how your application could be improved - you're welcome to ask our advice on this.
Please post any questions you have! Otherwise, download the documents and follow the instructions to put in your application.
The deadline is Sunday 12 August 2012.
We look forward to reviewing applications and adding new members to our team

No Lisy, there's no minimum age, no minimum time you need to have been a member and no minimum height for your application to be considered

Full names are required -- there's no anonymity in the staff file, I'm afraid, but only Administrators have access to it.

At the bottom of the application it says "Send to QA" So I clicked that and it said it sent but then it errored and I'm not sure if it actually went through or not and I don't want to send it again just in case it did.

I'm not sure my app went through. I clicked Send to QA but nothing happened O___O;;
umm..could someone tell me if they got my app or is there an alternate way to send it to an admin?
EDIT: I just made screen shots of my app and sent it to Robin >__< s-sorry..

Some of the essay reply fields are quite big. Is it okay if I don't use up the whole field and just explain my answer, short and sweet?

@J.J., You only need to fill in as much as you think is sufficient No need for publishable essays ;)
To those having issues with sending it to QA directly from the PDF, make sure you're downloading the app to your computer and not filling it out in your browser. This means actually right-clicking it and selecting "Download"/"Save File As". After you fill it out, save a copy, trying sending directly to QA, and if that fails then attach it to an email and shoot it off to management@queerattitude.com .

Also think about asking your QA friends if they'd like to apply as well, if you think they'd be good candidates. Hey, you could even be one of the two necessary members to "propose" their application! Good luck!
