I'm assuming a lot of ya'll have heard Born This Way by Lady Gaga. I heard it once just to hear the lyrics and it got me a-thinkin.
Are we really born this way?
Or to voice some Bible thumping bigots- do we choose it?
Personally, I don't think we're born with it. Not trying to sound negative or anything, but to me, it makes it sound like a birth defect. And for the choosing part, yeah, I'd really want to risk my place in my home.
I really think that being queer is just part of who you are, like your hair color or a quirk about your personality. It's a little hard to explain,but I hope you get my point.
So what's your view on the born this way topic?
