What's the effing deal with these labels? There are tons of them to describe different concepts and similar concepts and things that are exactly the same as one another but have 20 words for it.
In my head, when I first started hearing about different sexualities, it was just gay, lesbian, straight, and bi. Simple enough.
Then I gradually learned about things like transsexuality, asexuality, pansexuality, etc. Okay. Sure. Why not?
Now, as I probe deeper and deeper into the community, I'm learning about things like demisexuality and romantic orientations. It's like a new label pops up every couple of months!
And every time, it throws my own sexual orientation into a new light. Am I this? Am I that? Am I this and this because of that, but only under x, y, and z circumstances? What the hell is this!?
... *ahem*

Ohmygoodness, yes. I'm fairly easily confused, so... yeah. xD But I mean, I used to think I was straight, then bisexual, then I decided I was a biromantic lesbian because it sounded like me, now I'm really not sure so I just class myself as a lesbian when telling people, because at the end of the day I don't think it really matters what I call it, as long as I know that I love the girl I'm in a relationship with. I don't know if this really helps or whatever, but... ^^
It's always darkest just before the dawn. So stay awake with me, let's prove them wrong.

I agree that there are so many, but I like it. It really does make lgbt+ all incl coz people are able to decide for themselves whether they'd like a vague label, a detailed one or no label at all. I enjoy the vastness and variation they create. As long as everyone gets to express themselves, I don't mind finding out about all these labels that randomly pop up

I though I had everything figured out until I started really usin the Internet, and the I got just as confused as ever. It's also impossible to come out to someone who doesn't know of all the ladles, because you have to explain for ages
