BlogResponse: AP Stress!!! |
I regret not taking APs in high school. Especially stuff that would have not required me to take basic classes.
Maybe it's because I'm a history nerd, but that test sounds pretty manageable. If you've been studying for a month, then you should be good to go. Don't stress over it, that will throw you off.
Just remember, it's best to take a test in the same state of mind as you studied.

@Scarlet - Thanks I finally calmed myself down after a while haha
@Simon - Yea, I'm in Cali too!
@hope - thanks I just got out 4 or 5 hours ago and the essays killed me haha. MC was easier than I thought though. Huge weight lifted off my shoulders now, and it made me realize something, history is NOT my thing xD I'm so not taking the APUSH test next year.
You laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at you because you're all the same.

I have an extremely incompetent APUSH teacher, yet the AP test wasn't all that bad. I suggest you take it anyway, it looks good that you dared to take it all :b

Oh god, the tests themselves pale in comparison to their cost. I mean... $87 each? Really? Taking 3 next year. :/

@Alan - I'm taking the class, just not sure if I'll take the test (especially since it would be almost no gain at all to me seeing as the colleges I'm looking at don't give credit for APUSH) I might take it though, I'm just not usually very good at history. Maybe US will be easier than Euro since APUSH only covers about 200 years of ONE country and APEH covers 500+ years of a ton of countries. We'll shall see in a few months
@Kent - I agree. $87 is a crazy amount of money. My APEH teacher was telling us today that it goes to pay not only for the people who make the test, but also for the people who grade them. Apparently they get $1000 for a week of grading AP essays, and their flight and hotel is also paid for. There are so many areas that the College Board could be saving money to make it cheaper, but I guess they want their money. Have fun with your 3 AP tests O_O I'm only taking 2 next year (Bio and English)
