What is you opinion of them?

Personally, I think they're just fuckin' stupid almost all the time. I hear straight kids make them all the damn time, and more often than not, they make them about stereotypes which they actually believe, or the punchline is implying that being gay is weird or bad. So yeah. 9 times out of 10: Fuck gay jokes.

jokes by normal people usually suck, but a friend of mine showed me this guy Steve Hughes who does an awesome stand up act where he talks about "the straightness of gayness". It's pretty hilarious.

Most of them are stupid and not funny because people suck at telling jokes. But if they're funny, I'll laugh.

I personally don't like them because whe people make them (mainly straight people)They are not making it to be as humorous they are usually making it to be more on the demeaning side. The punch line is always gay is stupid at the end of the joke and that is not cool. Now if a someone who is actually part of the LGBT community makes the joke ummm I guess its fine because I know that they are joking and don't of course and it probably will be funny.

Meh. They're usually not funny anyway. I don't care for jokes, and they're even worse when they just mock people

I haven't heard many funny ones. I don't get offended by them or anything, they just aren't funny. I have heard a few though that made me cry because I was laughing so hard! All jokes target one group of people or another and most involve stereotypes, so I don't get sensitive about them.
You laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at you because you're all the same.

I don't really feel offended. They're about stereotypical gay people. I just can't relate to that. And on top of that they're sometimes funny as hell.

It really depends. Generally I hate them because most of the time they're offensive, however, if a gay joke is being made by someone who's gay themselves and it's actually funny, it's fine.

So there's this kid in my business class, right? And at the begining of the year he talked about how "I have three moms and one dad. After my mom and dad got divorced, my dad stayed with women, and my mom decided she wanted to try them too, because you know, women are awesome". That was the first thing I ever heard him say. And then a few weeks ago I head him make a gay joke and I told him to shut up and he legit said this:
"My mom's gay, its okay."
Really? Okay, I'm sure you know what its like to want to cry every time someone makes a gay joke, then...

Most of the time they are ignorant and made by people who think being LBGTQ is gross or wrong.
I've heard some pretty funny ones though. Told by people who are part of the LBGTQ community to make fun of the stereo-types people have.
