so... I got a new job as a foodrunner/busboy at this pretty high end resturaunt. I like the job. the pay is okay and the hours are long.
right now my biggest problem is my boss wants me to get a haircut but i dont feel comfrotable in my own skin with short hair. my boss says "You've gotta do something about that hair" and I've tried straightening it cuz my hair is pretty wild.... he didnt even notice. IDK what to do because I look at myself with disgust when I have short hair.

Try putting it in a ponytail or wear a headband? How long is your hair, exactly?

Ive only grown it out for the last 4 months.... becasue I was growing it out before that but my family kept making fun of me because my brother is in the marines so they called me "Sheepdog" for his whole bootcamp graduation ceremony.
so its like 2-3 inches.
I wish it was long enough to put in a ponytail.

Ohh then hm... a hat or a headband, perhaps? That's about the same length as mine, so I feel your pain XD Or just get bobby pins and clip it out of your face, if that's what he's bugging you about.
You shouldn't cut your hair off just because someone else tells you to. I hope you can find a solution

Well I cut my hair and Its... okay, I didnt get it too short but If he says something to me again about my hair im gonna flip.
I cant wear anything on my head because this is like.... a high class resturaunt. 4/5 star status imo.
I just turned 18 not even 24 hours ago and my dad is telling me this is like a life lesson or something... I dont get it.
