So, here's the breakdown: I'm a FtM transgender. I;m dating a girl who is about 98% out of the closet pansexual. My family still recognizes me as a girl, so I haven't said anything about her. She changed her relationship status today, sending me the request to confirm it.
Here's the issue: I have family on facebook. If I click 'accept' (which I /really/ want to do) they all find out I'm dating a girl, which will inevitably wind up in the whole "I'm not gay I'm a guy" conversation. My parents would probably be cool about it, but the rest of my family...
Then, if I ignore it, I have no way of knowing how my girlfriend will react.
What do I do?

Have you tried talking to your girlfriend about it? I'm sure that if she knew your situation she would understand. In the end, it's all up to you.
You laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at you because you're all the same.

I'm pretty sure you can hide your relationship status from certain people. Don't know if you want to, just saying.

You could also just have your relationship status as "in a relationship" instead of "in a relationship with ______" Of course, then everyone will want to know who.

I agree you could talk to your girlfriend about the situation.

Do not do anything until you've had a chance to talk with your girlfriend about it. It's an important decision which includes the two of you. Don't pu her in the position of having created a major family problem for you.
