BlogResponse: Vassar - The BEST PLACE EVER |
Oh my god. Why am I not going to Vassar? O_____O
Congratulations on getting in, smarty pants.
I'm going to Central Michigan University. It's pretty diverse too, although the housing isn't as fricking awesome as it is at Vassar (I will be in gender neutral housing, however). There are lots of good things about CMU, but I'd have to say that at this point its main attraction is my significant other....

Wo ... I really like the sound of that. I won't be going to college for 2 more years but ... wow, sounds good to me!
& btw: you're not nearly as long winded as I.
I love you! Yeah, you! Thanks for being you!

@Kai - Thanks! And honestly I give props to any college which is at least taking a step forward on gender issues and dorms. And I'm happy that you finally get to be with your S.O. in college
@Dawnie - I'd definitely keep your eye out for how welcoming the LGBT community on campus is when you're looking at schools. I can already tell it's going to make my experience so much better because I found such an accepting environment.

Be careful while you're in Poughkeepsie, NY. There's a serial killer that lives there named after the city who makes absolutely disgusting videos of himself murdering women and then assaulting them O_O don't go out alone at night.

I visited Vassar in February and it seemed pretty LBGT friendly. I recognized another kid that was on the tour with me as a trans*guy from the interwebs which was pretty sweet.
Oberlin is my first choice, because I didn't like how Vassar was completely fenced off from the rest of the area, but I'd definitely consider it as a close second choice.
Lemme know how awesome it is when school starts? I may visit again, as I was only there for about an hour.
