Hi, I'm Ellie, I'm very nearly 18 and a lesbian I live in England, in a rural bit where going out in the car means getting stuck behind about 5 tractors which won't budge for miles....!
My absolute favourite thing to do is read. I love the Hunger Games (can't wait for the movie!!!), the CHERUB series and the H.I.V.E series. I got my username from a HIVE character (a crazy Russian assassin )
My favourite band is The Wanted, I also love lady Gaga. I'm studying A Levels in Chemistry, Biology and History and am hopefully going to study Medicine at uni next year as long as I get three A grades in June *gulp* I found this site through an online search and it looks great

Hi Ellie!
I'm Katie and I'm 17. Welcome to QA, I'm sure you'll love it here. Everybody is super nice and you'll find support wherever you look for it.
Also, I'm interested in science and history too so I think it's cool that that's what you're studying
Feel free to PM anytime if you have questions or want to chat!

Hey Ellie!
I'm Tallie, also nearly 18 and also living in a rural bit of England where traffic means tractors and people herding sheep across the road.
Reading is definitely my favourite thing to do, and a good friend of mine is lending me the Hunger Games books. Just finished the first and eeeeeh it's so good! I'm studying History at A-Level to take at Uni in September (provided Summer results are good of course) so feel free to come rant at me about essays.
Welcome to QA! Everyone here is super nice so I hope you enjoy your time here.

Thanks so much guys
It's not the History essays it's the History coursework!!! Ughhh I don't do essays...don't think I'd be able to do a whole History degree as much as I love it as a hobby. I'm getting into History of Medicine now which is really interesting (did you know we used to have a big malaria problem in parts of England like 100 years ago??) I'm quite fond of spouting random facts at odd times Might be something to do with being an aspie, I have a big store of uselss stats and facts which I will NEVER need unless I want to become the ultimate Pub Quiz master!!

Hi Ellie, I'm Jessie - wahey I'm from England too!! Not too far from London, so switch five tractors for a massive traffic jam of cars!! I'm 18 and a lesbian too
OMG, I can totally remember reading the Cherub series, I used to be obsessed with those books - gave them all to my brother, think they're the only books he's ever read properly!
Yay, high five for History! God, don't remind me of the coursework, I've still got to cut words out of mine! Still, suppose I'd better get used to it, fingers crossed I'll be going to study it (and Spanish) at uni in October! What period are you studying?
Have fun round the forums, everyone here is brilliant and super welcoming. Ever need anything or want to chat, just message me

Studying Elizabeth for the exam, and Roman Emperors for the coursework. It's really interesting, but I'm a master of procrastination...so it's not getting done very fast!!
I'm still obsessed with CHERUB...they actually used to be my younger brothers, but I uh... acquired them from him years ago so they're all mine now
Emma - really hope you get an offer soon! It's a pretty stressful process (I only got my offer on Thursday) but fingers crossed...no news is good news
I can honestly say this is the warmest welcome I've ever recieved to any web site. Very happy I joined

Oh, cool, I'm doing Elizabeth for coursework and Catholic/Counter Reformation for the exam
Gah, tell me about procrastination! It's ridiculous how good I am at putting things off... :/
Do you know where you're going to be studying next year then?
Haha, I'm still obsessed with HP, but not so much with Cherub - reading Tina Fey's book atm, it's fantastic!

Hey!
I live in England too in a rural area where tractors are the bane of my life in the morning
I do biology, chemistry, maths and history and I want to study medicine as well! although I'm in lower 6th form so I can't sympathise with the history coursework yet
I've just started reading the hunger games which are so good! so addicted to the books and I can't wait for the film
Hope you enjoy the website!

Hi Ellie, welcome to QA!
I'm Emma, 22 and I'm a lesbian. I'm from England, too; I'm from Liverpool. Sometimes I wish I lived in a quiet place, like the countryside or something, that'd be pretty nice!
I hope you settle in here quick! It really is a great place. I'm sure I'll see you around the forums! Feel free to PM me any time if you want a friendly chat!

Yes, I do know where I'll be going next year (if I get 3 A's - Big if right now ) Up North in my favourite bit of England
Michaela - I also did Maths as an AS! Had to resit Core 1 and dropped it, definitely prefer History by far
Sadly I though Hunger Games 1 was by far the best book, even though they were all really good. Hope the film lives up to the hype
