Topic: Is this a gay offensive joke?

In Prison, a pervert, a rapist and a gay man shared a cell.
Pervert said: I want to fuck a cat to death.
Rapist said: I want to fuck that dead cat.
Gay man said: Meow~
Why my gay friends laugh too?
Maybe I'm too serious,
But isn't there some bias in this joke?
It's okay we talk about sex jokes with just all straight people or only gay people in it, and we can tease our weak sides as a human being that we may be horny, greedy... that's fine, but in this joke, straight and gay people confronts each other. As now voices are diverse and sometimes conflicts creates hate, bully ideas, is this joke just RIGHT? Politically or in every other way.
My point is being gay is not so needy that he can take any cocks like it's gay people's s nature here, as the joke already pointed out the guy is a rapist, so it's fine that the wrong doing is done by the rapist, not the cock taker as a victim, although in this case he's totally okay with it. What about a really horny girl with two drunk men on an isolated island with themselves but nobody else. Then?
Not every gay man is like this, as our society and some of gay people still don't know what are the okay things as being gay,
thus this might create negative image and hateful stereotype rather than just a joke.
I can be horny and I can be discreet and that isn't much to do with I'm gay or not.
Can you guys make the points more clear, I myself still confused here, sometimes it's coming from the gay community where I'm live , There can be sensitive and get irritated easily with not much tolerance to ignorance and sense of humor, I guess not every gay people know the gay-right things as most of them just try to make a living and get laid but really less likely finding true love.
Anyway, any joke for a straight guy or less inequality awared gay people to show them the idea of discrimination here?
Thank you.

Not sure why but i found this pretty funny, but funny as in the stereotypical gay guy type of thing and how people beleive every gay guy or bi guy wants dick all the time, etc. Me being Bi, i didnt find it truly offensive to me because i guess thats just the norm now and i could say im used to the jokes people make nowadays about homosexuality, etc.

To be honest I don't find that joke offensive at all, even one of mates who is gay as well didn't findit offensive, if anything he was laughing at it
I think its only offensive if the person takes offence to it xoxo

I thought it was quite funny...
OK, back to serious, 2 points.
a) 99% of humour is black humour because that's what makes it funny, I don't think i've heard a joke yet that's not offensive to someone or something.
b) lighten up, life's too short to be offended,
it takes more brain power and effort to be offended than to find it funny.
it will be alright in the end, and if it's not alright, it's not the end yet.

I thought this was pretty funny.
Jokes are jokes for a reason, they're not meant to be serious. And I don't think it in anyway implied that this is actually how all gay men are, or even that this is how large numbers of gay men are. I think he just needed to be gay in order to make the punch line. Don't take it too seriously.

It's a joke because it makes fun of a specific group of people, using stereotypes to drive home the punchline. That's what a joke does, hun. Every joke is offensive to someone.

I didn't find it funny at all, just not my type of humor I guess. But it wasn't really offensive. I've found most jokes are offensive to something or someone, but they aren't supposed to be taken that way.

Not that funny, but I don't really think it's offensive. After all: The joke wouldn't be much different if the first two were women and the last was a straight guy. Prisons are co-ed, though... Anyway, I don't think the joke was trying to say gay guys want sex all the time or anything like that...

i try to act like im okay with it b/c everyoneelse seems to be fine with it, but most gay jokes i dnt like to hear. idk why. maybe it just bothers me. depends whos saying the joke. depends on what you've been through. i cant help it sometimes if i feel offended. im kinda overally sensative. but if it ofends you dont let people act like you should be totaly fine and get over it, i would just walk away if you start feeling offended. i understand. i mean if being gay was seen as being okay id be halarious, but sense its not it idk it just bothers me. its different for everyone. and weather your offended or not offended. either way you feel is okay.

I dont find it offensive at all, like someone has already said some group always falls victim in a joke. I love a good joke no matter who the jokes about. STuff like this you just have to let go in one ear and out the other or you will always be offended.

It just depends on who it is and how they take it.
I, personally, didn't find it offensive, but didn't find it funny. It sort of irritated me. But no, I wouldn't find it offensive.
The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. i think it depends on who it comes from.
like, if a friend says it, then its cool.
but if its coming from someone who is using it in a mean way, then it's wrong.
personally, i thought it funny lol

It's a joke.
I sometimes think people jump on the 'that's offensive' high horse all too quickly, it seems silly.
I don't like homophobia, but i'm not going to lose sleep, when someone who has no importance in my great life, makes a stupid comment.
Life is too short to care.
You'll never convince a homophobe that being gay is right, and personally, i think everyone's entitled to an opinion, even if it may be extreme. Its only their actions that i may be offended by.
I just think all the drama can be the exact response a homophobe would feed on. Why give them that.
Ignorance is bliss..

I thought it was quite funny. But only because I've actually heard a very flamboyant gay guy say "meow" in real life to one of my friends. It wasn't offensive to me, but I'm not usually offended by any jokes. Actually I'm usually the one telling offensive jokes... O_o

I personally don't find it offensive (I actually found it humorous).
If you have ever told a joke about blondes, red haired people, or different ethnicities, then you have told a joke similar to this joke. They are moral equivalents. I don't think it should be taken offensively unless it was aimed at making someone feel bad.
