I have a ton of comfort objects. I have an old bandana, a scrap of a sweatshirt, one of my girlfriends shirts, a blanket and a stuffed animal penguin. I was wondering if any of you guys have things like that that you're super attatched to?

This ratty old quilt, my mom is always saying "is that too cold?" because it's really thin now, and it's really pale because of being washed and in the sun a lot. I don't want to get rid of it yet.

I've got a baby blanket that I've had for at least thirteen years that's threadbare in spots and the seams have been sewn numerous times. I'm fifteen and I can't let go of it

I have this little stuffed puppy I've had for years that is so comforting to me along with a plush turtle.

My grandma gave me a blanket she made when I was 7. It has a ton of holes and stains on it, but I still keep it because it reminds me of her.

For me, it's music, not objects. Certain songs just always help me feel better. Also I love my blue blanket. I wrote an entire blog post about it once cuz that's how awesome it is.

I have so many comfort objects...my iPod, my headphones, my guitar, my blanket my mom made me, my baggy orange sweatshirt, and whatever book I'm reading.

Okay guys, don't laugh.
I have this blanket.
It's older than I am (belonged to my older sister before it belonged to me, and before it was hers it was my cousin's) and I have had it since I was a year old. It's pretty much nothing but holes now...but I don't care. I still have it.
It's white (or it used to be) with rainbow hearts and blue elephants on it, with red binding around the outside.
And it has a name.
Don't judge, I named it when I was 2. XD
Its name is Red Blankie.
Yeah. I fuckin love that blanket. XD
The caged bird stands on a grave of dreams
His shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
His wings are clipped and his feet are tied
So he opens his throat to sing.
The caged bird sings with a fearful trill
Of things unknown, but longed for still
And his tune is heard on a distant hill
For the caged bird
Sings of freedom.

I also have a blanket from when I was really little. It's somewhere in my closet :3 I also have a stuffed animal dog named "Lucky" (from 100 Dalmatians) that I got from my grandparents on my first Christmas. I've been known to still cuddle it when I'm stressed or having a bad day XD;
