There are several hurdles I'm afraid, relating to resources, cost, and moderation. If you've seen good implementations elsewhere, though, I'd be happy to check them out.

It's an interesting idea, but if it did happen I'd prefer to see it stay only an option. Some of us are rather private and don't like to show our real faces on the interwebs...

In order to deter the creepers there could be a "must have 'x' amount of posts in order to use/view" feature. Example, 350 posts or so...it's enough to 'screen' folks before they use the video feature and, most people looking to creep would give up before reaching the target since they can get it easier somewhere else.
