I have a friend who came out last year, and was having quite a bit of trouble with it, until we started talking and I introduced him to some people in my schools Gay Straight Alliance.
He's become a lot more comfortable with his sexuality... But with some drawbacks. He's now even more exuberant, and because it took him so long to really realize that he was gay, he thinks it's the same way for everyone else.
He told me about a crush he has on a new sophmore boy. This kid has a TINY lisp, but otherwise doesn't have any stereotypically homosexual qualities. My friend still seemed to think that he was gay, and just didn't know yet.
Guess who was hired to find out?! Me..
And I did. But not in the way that I meant to. The new sophmore and I became friends, and then he was outright flirting with me. I asked him if he was interested in men, and he said "no". I passed that on to my friend... But he didn't get the message.
He follows the guy around school and texts him all the time, mostly when him and I are hanging out. My new friend is getting really creeped out by him.. I want things to settle down without anyone getting hurt.

Find out if your friend is bothered by your other friend "stalking" him, and if he is, you should talk to the other friend and explain what's happening. He may be so caught up in following around his crush, he doesn't listen to you, but it's worth a shot. Good luck!
