As long as they're not crawling on or near me, I have no problems with them. I dont like the big ones, but if I see one, I simply put it outside in the forest. I dont like killing them..

Well I don't know about in the UK but here around the midwest/southern U.S., there's the brown recluse spider. Lets just say the bites are....scary. Look them up on Google at your own risk.
Got bit by a spider twice on my leg over 2 weeks ago and it swelled up to 2 huge purple blotches. Still waiting for those to heal..

I love spiders. They are gorgeous, graceful creatures. My buddy once found a black widow in her grapes, and we kept it in a container for a while. Can't remember what she ended up doing with the creature...

I really don't like spiders, but if one like gets to close to me ill pick it up with something and put it outside, if it was a big poisonous spider, I would make my grandpa or some other person take it outside, lol

I mean, I've let them crawl on me and I've wanted a big spider before, but they're definitely creepy. I don't know why. Just like a lot of small insects, they're creepy.
My mom told me that I was bit by a spider when I was little. That's interesting. xD

We've evolved to be scared of them because some of them can kill you.

That's a really good question! i don't know why i'm so afraid of them they just freak me out. I don't want to kill them though because then i feel mean i just don't want them near me.
Okay so i'm just going to sit in my corner and be my own brand of awesome, feel free to join me ^^

The legs are disproportionately large compared to the bodies o.o - and they have too damn many. Also, they can climb walls and squeeze into "wtf small" spaces - they move freaky-fast too!
I can't stand on them...or put a glass over them...I have to vacuum them from a ridiculously large distance, or attack them with a hairdryer. Judge my arachnid genocide if you wish, but I cannot abide them

I'm not a fan of insects all-together. I intend to guard my home very well when I'm on my own.

Spiders are amazing!
I used to keep one in this jar. It was the strangest looking spider I ever saw and then it died. How depressing. I will agree though that they are ugly little critters, but they're interesting to watch. Especially when they move or when they lash out at their prey.
Also I'll admit I have had a few make me squeal and have scared me to death, but I like them nonetheless. :]
I was grumpy. There, lying before me like a dirty filing cabinet on a chimpanzee's toenail, was a giant wig. As if that weren't embarrassing enough, the wig, to my utmost fear, started to hiss.

It's because even though not all spiders will harm you some will and often people don't like the way spiders look so they just naturally freak out. < ( not referring to me because I am not afraid of spiders)

They are all crawly and creepy and scary! D: Spiders never fail to freak me out. Especially the huge, dark, fat-bodied ones that like to live in my basement *shudders*

Because they're quick and always come out at the wrong times >_< They're long legs, hairy body, glittering eyes..anlfjlashf Sometimes it feels like they're staring at you and waiting for a oppurtunity to jump on you! I freak out when I see one, but I don't harm or kill them. I don't like them but I'd hate myself for killing something that didn't actually do anything to me

When I was little I was told to sleep with my mouth closed or spiders would crawl in and lay eggs in my stomach, and they'd hatch and baby spiders would spin webs inside of me.
I'm not scared of spiders that much, but if they are ON me, I freak. I'm with 'Mikomisama' on this one - they're just scary.
