Honestly, I kinda love it when people compliment me on my looks. I mean, I get told I'm smart and funny all the time. It's like, "I know that already."
I guess it's nice that people care about my personality, but I mean come on. I'm a little more vain than they make me out to be.
Man, I sound like a conceited jerk in this post. And yet, it's true. Oh well.

Usually, I am commented after a performance (dance or theater). I'm told, by friends and family, that my acting/dance skills are semi-pro.
As for everyday compliments, I am apparently adored for my sense of self and individuality. I am also told that I'm kind, caring, and funny.

I love getting complimented on my skills, but then, maybe that's because I don't normally get them on my looks  however I must say, getting called beautiful or even nice by someone outside of my family is a big compliment to me

"How can you keep your skin like that?" Because apparently it's "flawless".
And.
"Your hair is so soft, what do you do to it?" Both when I let my beardy face grow, as well as my hair.
Nothing, I do nothing to my hair or face, by the way.
Personally I find compliments flattering, but weird. I don't really know how to respond to it.

Hmmm, I'd have to say if they complement something specific about my voice, writing, or ESPECIALLY maturity/empathy.

When people say I'm a great singer or ask if I really wrote one of my stories, or if they compliment my hair (I've recently dyed it pink and cut it short ^_^ )

Omg... When someone calls me smart. XD I know it is a little lame but I was always called the "smart girl". I LOVED it. Pretty, beautiful, hot, or whatever all dwindle eventually.
OH! also when someone tells me I am a good listener or friend.  I LIVE FOR THESE COMPLIMENTS

My favorite compliment has got to be if someone praises my hair, outfit, or looks. I mean, if somebody says "Damn, you look really good today," then there is a very good chance that from that moment on, my day will be fabulous. It's the ultimate mood booster.

My favorite is when someone obsesses for a few seconds over something I've made, be it food, drawing, painting, or at my costuming job. I know looks are always different and they don't last even 24 hours, but to know that someone thoroughly enjoyed something that I created is a good feeling.
