There's a girl that I like very much. We've been friends for awhile, and yesterday we hung out in the park together for several hours. It was awkward at first, but then we started holding hands and, *blush* she gave me my first kiss (we were standing on a bridge in the park on a ridiculously bright and sunny day; it was adorable). I really want to ask her out again, but there's a few problems. First of all, her mom is crazy-homophobic. If she caught us, she would be in HUGE trouble and we'd probably get banned from ever hanging out again. Secondly, since we're so young and can't drive and whatnot, our options our rather limited when it comes to places to go/things to do.

So (getting to the point finally), does anyone have any ideas for...dates, I guess? Or whatever it is that 14 year-olds do? I'd like to do something special (possibly go somewhere where we could be alone if we wanted to), but something that "just friends" can do too (movies, mall, etc.), to keep her mom from getting suspicious. What should we do?

I was never good at ideas for dates, I usually stick with the classic "dinner & a movie".

Also, any activities near your area is good (like, I have an ice rink nearby - not that I use it much...)

What's wrong with kids these days? Not enough, apparently, since grown-ups seem to feel the need to just make shit up. -Cracked.com

And finally:

Why did he do it? 'Cause he's stupid. That's why everybody does everything.

Bowling or a picnic although that may be a bit harder for you to cover up or maybe ice skating, I don't know I'd need to know more about where you're from to give you more ideas, but generall if you're both interested in it then it is a good place to start, my mate had her first date with her boyfriend at the zoo for instance.

I think, a date would basically entitle you two going out somewhere together and having fun.
I mean, this could even be somewhere you two go usually, e.g. a game arena or ice rink or even a park.

Yeah, I agree, something like dinner and a movie, it's casual and nice, especially with just the two of you.
In regards to the mum, I've had a similar situation, just see how it goes, and try not to raise suspicion.
Two girls going to the movies together isn't exactly seen as gay, in todays world, not in my experience anyway.
