Woah. I don't know why people are saying Lady Gaga can't sing because the girl can definitely carry a tune. I saw her in concert and she was awesome. She sings exactly like she does in the songs. No editing for her performances. I love her
"Have you ever fucked a girl?"
"No."
"Then how do you know you like girls?"
"Have you ever fucked a guy?"
"Well, no."
"Then how do you know you like guys?"
*silence* xD

I think hate is a strong word to use and kinda wrong. She's still talented, even if it isnt orginal - it really is hers and she actualy seems like a pretty original person. lol. Plus she supports lgbt. I dont rlly listen to her, but she sounds pretty good. Not my kind of music though.

I hated Just Dance, but then I hear Telephone and the music video was so well made, I had to look into her other stuff and started loving her.
The lyrics may not always be 'deep' or whatnot, but I really like the melodies and the fast-beat feel of her songs.
Plus, she has very exciting clothing and apparently, she sings very well live, which is more than what you can say for alot of other singers out there.

I never liked her. there is an air of pretentiousness and self-ego-stroking around her that makes me cringe. Plus, she is NOT original as some people always say. she is basically a mix of kelis, david bowie and THE GODDESS Grace Jones, but more desperate. and dont even get me started on her silly nursery rhyme tunes anyone with two brain cells can make.
I do appreciate all the things she does for us 'mos and our visibility.

I think she's okay. Theres a lot of music I'd rather listen to, but some times her songs are just right for the moment. By no means do I hate her, but I certainly don't worship her either

I don't know if we're allowed to post download links here, so I'll just post the original link. GaGa's new "Gay-Anthem" is out, and it's catchy as hell !!

I love it. It's like Madonna's Express Yourself, LGBT version.
The lyrics are a little too overt and the music a little too generic than I would have liked, but you know what? It's still fucking awesome, if you'll excuse my French.

I haven't taken this song off repeat since it came out! Lady Gaga is sheer genius and it's about damn time there's a song playing on mainstream radio that has a blunt shout-out to the LGBT community!
If anyone is curious, here are the lyrics (as posted by Gaga):

I'M BEAUTIFUL IN MY WAY
'CAUSE GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES
I'M ON THE RIGHT TRACK BABY
I WAS BORN THIS WAY!

Liza, I thought the same thing when I heard it, that it reminded me of Express Yourself by Madonna! But I still love this new song.
"You know, I have to have the umph. I've got to feel it, because if it's not getting through to me, the audience sure as hell aren't going to feel it either."
- Janis Joplin
"Think gently, speak gently, live gently."
-Mattie Stepanek
"Music has been my outlet, my gift to all of the lovers in this world. Through it, my music, I know I will live forever."
-Michael Jackson
"Songs are like tatoos. They represent a time in your life and if you've really moved on it's hard to go back there and sing it with feeling."
-Madonna

I used to like Gaga.
Not to say that she's terrible, she's just getting a little old, now.
Just another repetitive pop song. Though the positive LGBT vibes are nice for a change.

Yeah, it is another repetitive pop song. But it's catchy.
It wouldn't be my cup of tea although I usually like her music. But I appreciate the shout-out to the LGBT community. In terms of raising awareness - it'll be all over the radio/T.V. That isn't something anyone can complain about really.

When the lyrics were released I was a bit, "hmmm" because I thought they were a bit flat. BUUUUT when the song came out yesterday, and I hid under a table in my class just to listen to it, I was absolutely thrilled. It's amaaaazing and I love it loads.
