Okay, so I recently dumped Firefox and hooked up with Google Chrome and it is so perfect and I love it <3 BUT since doing so 1/4 of my lovely, darling QA has gone missing. It's the right sidebar. Completely and totally gone. It poofed. And I'd really like it back in its place so QA can look like QA once more. How do I make it so?

Did you install AdBlock? You may want to look under Tools -> Extensions to make sure it's not running.
Also, if you could take a screenshot of the page and attach that, I may be able to help more.

If you're using Windows, just press the Print Screen (or Prt Scr or something like that) button on your keyboard, then open MS Paint and press Ctrl + V on your keyboard. Save the resulting image and upload it somewhere (to a QA gallery, for instance).

If you want to use AdBlock in the future, be sure to add QA to the exceptions list.

Indeed, I brought this up as an issue a couple of years ago. QA's sidebar is contained in a CSS div class named "adverts", which causes AdBlock and AdBlock Plus to block it completely.
Adding QA to the whitelist will eliminate the problem.

Ah, yes, that happened to me a while back for the same reason. (Firefox's AdBlock does it too!) I'm glad QA doesn't have actual ads that need blocking!

...me! I think I've seen it on the homepage once or twice, but I only just realized that it wasn't there and that, upon whitelisting QA, it's back again. Wow. That's...kind of useful.
