Okay, so a while ago, a friend of mine stopped talking to me. This made me mad, because there was no reason. She just, stopped.

One day, I wrote her a note in science class and since then has pretended like she never threw me aside, and continues to call one of my good friends a "she-devil" and other things (called her the anti-christ once).

However, today I find out, that she stopped talking to me because "she couldn't do anything with me". Meaning, she couldn't "save me" and make me give up my religion to become christian.

Also today I got a chain e-mail (which I HATE) from this friend that was something like "if you truly love Jesus, send this to 10 people"... I deleted it without reading the whole thing.

I don't mean to say that I hate christianity or anything, because everyone should be able to believe what they want... but when I tolerate people, and they turn around and tell me I'm going to hell, I get a bit angry.

And she also tries to get me to go to christian youth groups, and "Devotions" at our school.

GROWLROAR

-_-

Just needed to get that off my chest Emoticon: Smile :)

What's the secret to getting the religious kids to leave you alone, you ask?

Why, pick a passage of the Bible and make up your own religion, of course! Bonus points if you bother to write the 'neo-testament.' ^_^

Just ask her, "What would Jesus do?"

Here's some Bible passages to throw at her:

Matthew 15:26-28: A Gentile woman from Canaan asked Jesus to heal her daughter who she believed was severely demon-possessed. The state of medical science in1st century Palestine was primitive. Jesus and others believed that mental illness was caused by demon possession. At first he described his teaching as bread and referred to the woman by a racist term: a dog. She responded with a joke, and Jesus healed her child. Here Jesus initially rejects a woman of another faith, and later accepts her as a fellow human being.

John 4:7-12: Jesus visited Sychar in Samaria and stopped at the well built by Jacob. He asked a Samaritan woman for some water to drink. She is surprised for two reasons: why a Jewish male would talk to a Samaritan, and why he would talk to a woman. Jewish males at the time would not speak to women in public, and avoided interacting with Samaritans because they were considered impure. Their faith was only partially based upon Judaism.

I don't hate Christianity, I'm completely indifferent to it. I refuse to acknowledge any religion which shuns others for their beliefs and the company they keep, and this extends to a great deal of the major ones.

I would be quite happy to metaphorically slap some sense in to her.

I hope you realise that in the end, you don't need a friend like that. Evangelism and uninvited control are, imho, the biggest evils of our time.

hmmm...yesterday I decided the whole "Kinkism" thing should actually means something...I could write a text and shit but thats to much work...I'd do it but then I'd get more stuff from the christians

Whats worse is i will be the "jesus" in this case since I am the founder (or would be) of kinkism, my friends have shirts that say "Follower of Kinkism"...I think I should finish it

Kinkism sounds fun Emoticon: Grin :D

I'm going to be... Arcadian!

*evil laughter*

No, I'm not...

Has anyone read The Chrisalids? (or however you spell it)

It's based after a nuclear war, and the religion in this society is loosely based on today's christianity, only in this religion, any deformed thing is a blasphome or "offence/deviation", and animals, plants, and even humans born with deformities are slaughtered, and then everyone prays for forgiveness from God for the deformed whatever it may have been... it's insane o.o
