i should start off like this;
last night while hanging out with some friends, we ended up making cupcakes.
(chocolate on chocolate if you were wondering).
anyway, when it came to eating them, one of our friends asked for a fork and knife, then proceeded to eat the cupcake like a miniature real cake.
we all laughed, since the rest of us had never seen a cupcake eaten like that before. so then we started to discuss all the diferant ways to eat a cupcake.
cake first then frosting, frosting then cake, all at once, etc, etc... you get the idea.
so i guess my question to you all is....
how do you eat your cupcake?
if you have an intersting way to eat a cupcake do you eat anything else in a peculiar way?
i eat my cupcake by tearing of the bottom part and eat that first than the top half with both cake and frosting.

I bite most of the frosting off. Then I rip the bottom off and eat it. Then finally, I eat the rest (basically a mini cupcake).

i always hold it above my head and eat the bottom, then i munchmunchmuch through the frosting and small amount of cake thats left(:

I like to peel the wrapper off the bottom and then lick the frosting off till there's nothing left but cake, which I then eat

Well, two ways, depending on the situation and environment. The damn things are exorbitantly crumbly, so I usually try to eat the whole thing all at once xD It's pretty ridiculous to watch, but w/e ;)
If I'm in more professional (or at least not idiotic) company, I'll try to at least cut it in half ;)
There is definitely an exact science to this, and the truly superior cupcake eating style shall prevail 8D

Hahaha, what an awesome question!!!
I tend to tear off the edges of the cupcake off first. Then I proceed to unwrap the rest of the cupcake and polish it off in a few bites.
My friends and I make cupcakes and bring them to school for lunch every Friday, so I think I have cupcake eating methods down to a science, haha

I to usually rip the bottom off and eat it first and then I usually scrape the icing off with a finger and eat the rest of the cake and then suck the icing off my finger, present company be d*mned

Icing first, by any means necessary, then the rest of it. Alternatively, I try to eat it in one go and get some laughs out of people.
In 'company' the bottom gets ever-so-discreetly eaten first, and the icing savoured.
I kind of want a cupcake now...
