That sounds like such an interesting thing! I've never heard of Pink Training. How did you come across it?

What was your favorite and least favorite part?
You're stubborn, hard headed, sheltered, impatient, angry, and altogether you irritate and frustrate me more than anyone else on the planet. I love you.

It's an annual event so one or two of our LGBT society members had been there last year. So we contacted our Students Union and organised for our committee to head down there for the weekend. Our Students Union President was also kind enough to pay for the whole thing including accommodation, food and registration fees.

My favourite thing had to be getting to meet people from other societies around the country. The workshops and seminars were great, but the social aspect was the highlight for me. On the other hand, my least favourite part was the fact that a lot of the workshops were timetabled at the same time. So I couldn't go to all of the ones I wanted to because the schedules clashed. =/ Not to mention that I didn't get to talk to my girlfriend. But I'll sound like a whiny bitch if I complain about that too much. Emoticon: Tongue :p

Nuuuu! I missed Billie's workshop and I had heard so much about it. I was in 'All sexualities and genders sexual health.' D: I'm definitely going to that one next year though.

You should be proud of yourselves. You did an awesome job. We had been talking to some of your members in the 'running an effective LGBT society' workshop, and you've put in so much work. I'm not even in WIT but because Waterford is my hometown I was extremely proud of you guys.

And that sounds like an awesome plan. Emoticon: Grin :D

How did I miss you then? I was sitting next to the girl that was discussing the political aspects of USI affiliates and why some college's LGBT society members couldn't attend. Hopefully we can get that changed in the next SU referendum. I hate that some students can't attend these events just because of their Students Unions. =/

Ohh, that sounds so amazing! I wish I lived in Ireland already. x_x; (Mom and I are planning on moving.. eventually.)
I wish we had such things here, but.. the only things we really tend to do is the Gay Pride parades and a few occasional Events that I can never seem to go to. -sulk-

I'll have to come to it someday! ..Eventually. >>;
