I'm not sure there's been a topic like this, not since I was around anyway... just wondering, by a show of hands, who's out and who's not? In terms of friends, school/work, family and all that... Feel free to share relevant anecdotes or whatev.
I'm out all over the place. Anyone else?

We could all take a lesson from crayons - some are bright, some are beautiful, some are dull, some are short, some are tall, and some have wierd names...But they all have to learn to live in the same box.

How do you mean? Just out to friends, or some, or family or... what? Just interested to get a range of situations and reasons for them, as far as possible.

I'm out to my parents and one friend now (as of last week.) I'm working on it, still. Progress being made.

Umm... I'm out to my mom, most of my friends, some people I hardly know... some people I DON'T know... and my sister and her fiancee...
Oooh, I have an amusing story of how I cam out to a friend... we were in class, and one of my other friends was drawing a picture of the straight guy I liked, so we were talking about the picture in a note and she wrote "Don't tell anyone, but I kinda like him" and I wrote "=O SO DO I!!!"
She looked at me funny

That's a cool story and now makes mine seem boring and mundane in comparison.
Where's my chloroform? *sends Jacob to sleep and runs off with his story*
Anyway, as for me: everyone but my parents. I once really embarrassed a friend of mine, when we were at a bar together snd she asked if I wanted to go out with her friend and I was like "Honey, I'm gay." It was really funny 'cos we had known each other for months and she nearly jumped out of her seat!
Who are you going to believe? The homosexuals or the man who spun round and touched his nose?

she hasn't said anything about it besides "interesating conversation in class today", but she's ok with it
Yay! I love chloroform o.o I really, REALLY do... I want some for my birthday...
*enjoys nap, and laughs at story somehow*
*wakes up and licks food*
Mine *watches suspiciously*

I'm out to my family , other than that I don't really have any people I hang out with on a regular basis .
