ExhibitionResponse: Yes, we have that in Texas... |
I love these pictures. They're really well taken.
There's so much out there, and there's such a contrast between some of the pictures.
Beautiful.

These are brilliant photos. I love the contrasts between the different shots, both in terms of angle/focus and colour.
Wonderful.

Thanks! All of your awesome comments and constructive criticism really means a lot to me. And it also helps me get better, by letting me know that there are people actually enjoying the outcome of my hobby. Again, thanks.

Love the photos! You should try not being so centered on the subject, what's around it can be just as important as what you intend to shoot

Yuh lenses resemble muh lenses! Uber cool.
But what, scurrilous babbler? Shall your barren wind slake the flame burning within my own heart? By no means! For mine is the flame that does not consume, and the guff of your bellows shall only fan it, that it burns all the brighter, the hotter, and the more surely.

What type of camera do you use? If you don't mind me asking.

Right now I am using a Nikon D5000 that I picked up a few months ago. The lenses I have for it are the 18-55 AF-S DX Nikkor; 55-200 AF-S DX Nikkor; and the 10-24 AF-S DX Nikkor.

Well if I was starting from scratch I would go with the canon t2i or what ever their better intro camera is because it has 18mp and full hd video capabilities. I just went with nikon because my dad is a pro nikon-film photographer. So I just started with what he had and stuck with it.

Oh yay for Canon! I have talked to a lot of people and it seems like more people prefer canon so maybe I will go with a canon.

The orange and blue sunset one reminds me of Robert Frosts poem "Fire and Ice..."
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
It's one of my favorite poems of his, and the picture matches it beautifully. Great job. I love it. <3
Life running unchecked by death is cancer or a rainforest mowed down to raise beef cattle for an overpopulated society. Death unchecked by life is famine, plague, massacre. Neither is a natural or harmonious balance; light and dark must circle 'round each other in a dynamic polarity to maintaint the dance of life."

Robert, as the daughter (and granddaughter, and neice, and being one myself, just not on a professional level) of a photographer, I must say, these are fantastic! Plus, it makes me happy cos I'm from Texas
"The best thing about coming out is, it's totally liberating. You feel like you've made this incredible discovery about yourself and you want to share it and be open and honest and not spend all your time wondering how is this person going to react, or should I be careful around this person, or what will the neighbors say? And it's more. It's about getting past the question of what's wrong with me, to knowing there's nothing wrong, that you were born this way. You're a normal person and a beautiful person and you should be proud of who you are. You deserve to live with dignity and show people your pride."
