What is your schooling history?
Did you go to public school, private school, alternative school, homeschool?
Personally, I've been in private school my whole life. I went to the same school for middle and high school. It's basically two schools in one and now I'm in the "upper school" which is grades 9-12 (I'm in 10th grade) and the "lower school" was grades 6-8. It's a college prep school. I love it. Definitely challenging, but so many options and different classes. Despite all the rich kids, it's relatively liberal around here, but I guess that's Washington in general.
What about y'all?

I went to a Catholic School in pre-k and kindergarten. I even hated it then. My teachers shouldn't have taught children. They were EVIL. But the school itself was alright, minus the chapel hour. How many 5 year olds want to pray for an hour?
When I was 6, my family moved out of the increasingly horrible area that no one should raise children in (not even exaggerating. There have been murders and fires right near our old house this year.) Anyway, ever since then, I've been going to the same public school district. Grade 1-10, in three buildings, which more some reason, are getting larger O__O. I hate this place too. Everyone thinks they're rich, so they're super stuck-up, most of our taxes go towards our sports, the arts are left high and dry, and people are so narrow-minded. But hey, I've got two more years in this place.

I've always gone to a public schoool.
From Kinder to year 1, I was one school and then we moved to a bad neighbourhood, it's like the ghetto.
So from year 2 to year 6 I stayed at that school.
Moved schools for year 7-10 for high school.
and then moved schools for year 11.
I dropped out and I'm now in another school for year 12-13 for college.
Next year I'll be at another school for Uni

Hm...I went to public school my whole life.
I went to two different preschools because in the middle mother and father switched custody time lines.
Then I went to one elementary school for kindergarten.
Then my parents switched custody things again so I switched to a different school and district for 1st-4th grade.
Then dad moved so I switched to a different school and district for 5th and 6th grade.
Then I went to a jr. high for 7th-9th.
Then switched districts again when I went to live with mother and went to the high school for 10th-12th.
Now I'm in community college

I was in special ed until third grade because I couldnt read at a public school.
I was in regular classes 4th and 5th grade. In six grade I moved over to the hell whole known as our schools midill school.
In seventh grade I moved to a environmental charter school with 33 people in my grade, it was amazing so I stayed there.
I enrolled for an environmental boarding school, I was accepted, but it changed into a semester school for seniors. I had to go to public high school.
Im spending the year at my crappy local high school and applying to seven boarding schools.
9 months out
8 months therapy
2 month full time (besides school)
In 2-4, hormones.

Then I went to a public middle school until 8th grade.
Then I went to a private boarding school until 12th grade.
And now I'm in college.

Public school. But the school system in the community I've spent most of my schooling in (since 3rd grade) is REALLY good. One of the best public school systems in the country, apparently. I'm so glad I wasn't homeschooled, because I never would have been motivated to work and I would have ended up with NO social skills (and I have few enough as it is).

I've done both. I went to public school for elementary school, and then private school for middle and high school. God it was awful, I went to a all girls middle school (I know what you're thinking, but it wasn't fun at all). It was pretty much a bunch of rich, straight, bitchy girls who hated anyone the least bit different.
Thank god I'm in a normal high school. Much, much better.
I've been thinking about hell, and it's got to be a much nicer place than heaven... all the gay men are down there. You KNOW it's well decorated.
If being gay is a disease, lets all call in queer to work. "Sorry, cannot come to work today, still queer".

It's interesting to note that my school is full of rich people as well. It has to be noting the exorbitant prices of attending this school. But I haven't noticed the people here being bitchy and stuck up. It would be lying if I said I wasn't friends with other rich people. I am. They pretty much all are. They're not all super duper rich, but they all come from pretty well-off families because in general, those who attend this school do. Maybe it's because I've been surrounded by it my whole life, but I just haven't noticed any negativity. These are the best people I've ever met in my whole life. I love them all to death.
Thanks for your answers, everyone. I just wanted to add that bit in because several people mentioned it.
(My private school is secular by the way).

I went to public school for K-8 now I'm at a private high school. I'm in a rich area too, but you know, people here are pretty cool. It's kinda like what you said about being liberal. The whole west coast is like this, I think.

I have gone to public school all the way through.
I skipped pre-school, because I`m cool like that
I then went to two different elementary schools, two different middle schools, and one high school which I will graduate from in June :]
I'm sorry that I have to write in paragraphs, but that's the only way my phone will let me post on QA :)

Thanks to a couple of moves, I've been to several types of schools. From pre-k to my current 12th grade, I've been to two montessori schools (private), two Christian schools (private), one college-prep charter school (public), and one independent all-girls school (private). Hopefully next year I'll be starting at a private university.
Frankly, I like having gone to so many schools. It definitely forced me to become a friendlier person, and I make friends pretty easily.

I've always been in public school.
Now I go to a private college.
There's not much difference I guess, except more money. But I'm going to transfer to a different one later on. =)
Please know I'll never run away without you in my arms.

Well, as I'm the third and last son, my parents made me follow in the (mostly on point/successful) footsteps of my brothers. I attended to preschool, kindergarten, and first through fourth grades at a catholic elementary school, and then (like my next oldest brother) left that school in fourth grade to attend an all-boys (catholic choir school...yeah, I know) junior high school. I was expelled in 7th grade for the stupidest of reasons and went to a public school for 8th grade. Again following in my brothers' footsteps, I went to a catholic all-boys high school, where I really started to come out of my shell, and went absolutely wild...started doing drugs and exploring my homosexuality and got expelled in my junior year (I took the fall for something my boyfriend was caught doing, essentially, but there's far more to it); one month later I went to a public high school and was caught selling drugs there less than a month in and was expelled. Thereafter I got my GED (after awhile) and am going to MIT in the fall.

Ive always gone to public schools. First I went to this strange little school in the middle of town that only catered for kinder and prep. Next I went to primary school from grades 1-6. Then I was at high school from grades 7-10, then on tuesday I started college, aka senior secondary school, where I should stay for grades 11-12.

I've been going to an alternative, public school for the past 3 years. Before that, it's always been traditional public school for me.
