I just need to know for my own peace of mind...
I have a stuffed Tigger on my bed and a few teddy bears and the ones I actually sleep with in my bed are a couple stuffed cats and bears. I've just never gotten out of the habit of doing it and it feels good to have your arm around something when you're going to sleep.
I know I'm a baby...

Every now & again (yes, again, not then .. because I'm strange), I'll find my very first "special" teddy bear, Muffy ... the one stuffed animal I've ever been attached to for such a long time.
When I find her, I'll sleep with her (AY! ;]), & find myself reminiscing (can't spell today blaaaahhh) ... & everytime I sleep with her I'll always wake up in the middle of the night to cry for about an hr, & then I'll cry myself back to sleep.
It happens every single time .. & yet I feel compelled to sleep with her everytime I find her. She's the physical emodiment of my childhood ... I can't help it.

Yeah, I have a favorite old beat-up stuffed cat that I've been sleeping with forever. She is the embodiment of my childhood as well. Plus, she's the cutest stuffed animal ever...

I brought mine to college, and I thought it was going to be embarrassing... and then I saw that both of my roommates brought theirs, too. Apparently it's not that out of the ordinary. =]
I took a cab there to hold her

I have my bunny (Hunny), my monkey (Chimpy), my teddy (Fizz), and my kitty (Herbert) that I always sleep with =]
Herbert is in Texas with my best friend at the moment though. But he doesn't mind. He's best friends with her frog, Cuddles.
Yes I'm cool enough that I named all of them.

I'm so glad to know I'm not alone here! I sleep with a stuffed peguin named Hogarth and a Raggedy-Anne doll. I prefer the penguin though: he was adopted from a Salvation Army, and he's got ANIME EYES! *omgs*

All my animals have human names, which I find odd on my part (some of them were pre-named). There's Karen, Alicia, Maggie, Candy, Casey (cats) and then Chris, Austin, and Jack (bears).
I only sleep with four of those, though. lol

Yeah - especially when I'm feeling down...
His name is Happy Bear, his fur is a little matted/faded, he's a bit flat, and he's twenty-five years old. But he's the only one of the bears I own (and I admit to owning roughly 10, all named, and a lot younger than Happy) that I sleep with anymore.
I'm 15, btw XD

@Rory: Tigger!! <3
I used to sleep with so many. Because I used to be very fearful and all of the animals around me made me feel protected . I had three build-a-bears, all of their puppies, and several Ty beanie babies. I also had this weird fort thing, where I stood a pillow up next to the pillow I slept on, to block the view of my room at night (ie shadows), and I never slept without that. I stopped when I was a bout 12 or 13, simply because my mom said I was getting too old for it. I still have my 30-something beanie babies in my closet

She cut the blanket? That's terrible...
I still have a favorite blanket. It has the Disney babies on it. I used to sleep with it when I was younger.

I have a teddy bear that's yellow and blue.. It's been torn up so many times by my dog, and I used to bite it's ears when I was sad, so it's reallyyyy beaten up. I've sewn it's holes up and all, but a lot of the stuffing fell out so now it's floppy and soft. I've lost him though... I'm hoping I'll find him soon.
My girlfriend's sending me one for christmas, and I'm sure that I'll end up sleeping with her every night.

I have a prayer shawl (so basically, a slightly more sophisticated term for blankie) that these sweet old ladies made me when I was super ultra sick when I was 12. Now I also sleep with my build-a-bear, Fletcher, that my now-ex-boyfriend got me for my birthday last year.

Yep, still sleep with a teddy bear. I actually have around 50 at home, but I had to get my dad to put up shelves for them because they'd have covered my whole bed.
I also still have my baby blanket and have trouble sleeping without it... *is embarrassed*
