I don't know how many ov us are 'dog-people', but I love dogs. Granted, I prefer real dogs-- like labs, pugs, hounds, etc.

My personal favorites are Saint Bernards, Black Labs, Pugs, Beagles, Basset Hounds, Pekigneses and Golden Retrievers. OOOOOH, and Daisies-- that's a special breed I have. Named after my own dog (Daisy), used to describe mixed-breeds who are rambunctious, stupid, yet adorable and loving/lovable.

So, let's hear 'em peoples!!

"You need to accept that there's no shame in being who you are. The only shame is thinking that the gift that God gave you and the person that you were created to be is not good enough to show to the rest of the world. That's where shame comes."

"If your kid comes up to you and has enough courage to admit to you who they are truly, you better damn well love them all the same; because that takes a lot of guts. Parents don't realize it. They keep thinking about themselves; 'Oh, how's this going to reflect me?', 'Oh, why do I have a gay kid?', 'Why me?', 'Why this?'. Think about your kid who's going through this."

I love dogs, I totally adore them!

I don't have a favorite breed, I think every breed have something unique and beautiful. I really love the typical family dog - The Golden Retriever =)))

Irish Setter Terriers! X) That's what my pup is, and I swear, you could never deny her anything. She's got red fur, big floppy ears and huge brown eyes. Er.. and I'm going to take Josh's "Daisy breed" idea, and say "the Cinnamon" type of dog. The kind that sleep all day, occasionally dance, and are AWESOME at begging for food, usually by pawing the arm that is holding the food until you can't ignore them anymore. XP I lurve dogs.

I had a mini-pincher for 11 years, he passed away last year, it was horrible. I was only sleeping, not eating anything, doing nothing. I am hearing all the time from everywhere that pinchers are kind of evil, not friendly and stuff. I don't know about the rest but he was the most frinedly and good hearted dog I've ever met. He was acting like a prince or smth. if there is high grass or mud or smth like that he was waiting for someone to carry him =) He would never lye otside because it's dirty, he was not eating everything andhe was not eating anymore when hewas full lol. I am telling you he was an alien, I have never seen a dog that "polite" lol but I loved him and still do with all my heart =)

After that I was telling I would never get another dog. Eventually, I did. It was a present for my bday but I actually choose him from a web-site for homeless dogs, he was only month old and he is beautiful but he is a mix I don't know his breed. He's the total opposite of my other dog- he is absolutely wild- he is out for five mins and he is already all dirty, he is eating everything from everywhere, he is always looking for someone to play with, he is cute =) I love him. Ah and gosh i miss him

@Gabbi- it sounds like you have a pretty cute pup Emoticon: Smile :)

I love dogs but I have problems with the pure breed industry.

@V.: I remember when my old dog Tara died-- she lived for 14 years and was my best friend. I felt like absolute shit-- she was the worlds greatest dog. Emoticon: Sad :(

@Owain: Hells yeah, it's evil! Ive owned three dogs-- always been mutts, always will be (although I would love a Pug).

I love huskies. Chocolate labs are adorable and I've always wanted a puggle (pug and beagle mix.)
