I didn't know if this was national news or not. Anyway, I felt that this needed to be brought to QA's attention. This is a local story from my hometown, and it has disgusted virtually everyone here. Schools have already started cracking down on bullying to the extreme.
It's just a shock to me that something like this could happen. And in middle school.
Someone here on QA posted a short film not too long ago that was eerily similar to this.
Here’s what I know about the realm of possibility—it is always expanding, it is never what you think it is. Everything around us was once deemed impossible. From the airplane overhead to the phones in our pockets to the choir girl putting her arm around the metalhead. As hard as it is for us to see sometimes, we all exist within the realm of possibility. Most of the limits are of our own world’s devising. And yet, every day we each do so many things that were once impossible to us.

Im pretty sure that I heard about it. It is really scary that this could happen in a middle school and even worse that it isnt an isolated incident. Many schools are getting tough on bullying, but I dont think its something that can ever really be stopped

Something similar happened at the all boys' residential college next door to mine.
Like, a dormitory at one of the country's more prestigious universities. Full of young adults who should certainly know better.
There are vile, horrible people everywhere.
This case was the last straw in a long endured onslaught of bullying that the staff had ignored, and after that happened it was hushed up very quickly. But everyone in the uni community knows about it.
Some people are disgusting. i can't believe anyone has it in them to treat another person so horrendously.

I totally agree with all yall. there is not one single person who deserves abuse. and espesially when that person is younger, or in some other way has a less advantage. in this case, there were many. and my heart and prayers reach out to the family and more than anyone, that poor boy whos heart, mind and soul may never recover.

This is just sick. I'm disgusted with the fraction of the world population that does horrible disgusting things. Makes me almost wish I was a plant rather than a human. All this shit is just everywhere and it's getting old really fast. My deepest sympathies go out to this victim and all the other victims of any type of abuse around the world.

it's always difficult for me to get my head around how people can't treat other human beings in such a manner!

Yeah, the fact that this happened in a middle school means they DEFINITELY need to get this taken care of... it scares the hell out of me because not only do i know of people that this happened to, I was also made a victim of it... just because they wanted to see if i squealed like a girl... -growls- Thankfully they were taken care of but I really hope those four boys get what's coming to them...

*places hand in the air*
I can say that this does happen, because I have been sexually assaulted, when I was at school. And I didn't say anything either because what can you say really? "Oh teacher, I was raped?" its too hard, and it causes sooo many problems.
But I just stayed quiet, but people found out eventually, but it go to the stage where the police said simply "there is no physical evidence" and I think that the school "advised" me to not press charges.
But yeah, it does happen.

Good Lord. I'm glad they're being tried as adults. I hope they shoot for life w.o parole. These are the people that grow up and beat their wives and rape their neighbors.

That's..horrific. Why on earth would they do that? Where would they have even got such a disturbed idea from? Why do people feel it necessary to be cruel to other people..maybe to make them seem stronger and a big man.
And it's excellent they're getting tried as adults. But no sentence in prison will ever be enough to fix that poor kid psychologically. He's gonna be disturbed forever.

It surprises me that so many people are surprised by this. Humanity is, as a whole, a really bad species. Stuff like this goes on far too often, and I doubt we ever hear about a quarter of it. Rape happens. Murder happens. Gruesome things that we think happen only in our nightmares, happens.
It's wrong, yes, but why is it surprising?
I do hope the people responsible here get a long sentence and continually have to pay for it.
And I don't want the world to see me, 'cause I don't think that they'd understand. When everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am. I just want you to know who I am.

I mean, I was sexually assaulted too, but since my dad was the chief of police, he went down HARD on the fucker. I mean the guy was literaly trying to throw money at us to settle it, and i was just like 'nurp you decided to do it, now you have to pay the piper'.

Yes, it's sad and disgusting, but I'm not particularly surprised.
Honestly, I think anyone who's surprised when they hear stuff like this must be pretty oblivious to all the shit that goes on around the world every day.
I may be disgusted, saddened, enraged, or frightened by this sort of thing, but I'm not really surprised by stuff like this anymore.
I hope the victim has all the help he needs.

Brian: The kind that fucks men.
