I think nobody uses it because whenever someone goes in there there isnt anyone lol...maybe we should have aquired times where people meet up and chat in there or something?

Hmm. This is indeed a complicated one. I'd say QA's peak time is about 10PM GMT, which is 11PM in the UK at the minute because we're on British Summer Time (GMT+1).
So we could arrange daily scheduled meetings at 10PM GMT? That won't suit everyone, but possibly most?
Not sure.
QA Chat will always be at a disadvantage aslong as it is an external service. A custom solution is a long way off though.
I wish the world was flat like the old days / And I could travel just by folding the map / No more airplanes or speed trains or freeways / There'd be no distance that could hold us back

Yeah thats a problem, and to be honest it can't be avoided...although it would help if, for example, it was 10pm GMT in the UK, then it would be 4pm in America so it would be possible for both sides of the atlantic to access the chat at a time which they can make....i say America and UK because many of the people from this site are in or near those timezones...

I've gotta agree the chat definately doesnt have much activity... I've been sitting in there for five or six hours (just idling), and theres not one "soandsos has joined the room!" message to be seen

Everyone who gets this, and can make it.
Try and come into the chat client for this website for about 10 pm british time. Cause then its not too late for British peeps, and its like 5 pm in america.
So sunday at 10 every1!

I was using a proxy once, and it was a linux based one... and I was looking up some stuff on Microsoft, and came to a page that was full of the name, but I noticed something.... weird about all the 'Microsofts' in the page, instead of saying 'Microsoft', they said 'Micro$uck'? lol I went to microsoft.com as well, and the same thing happened, on their own website!!
Anyway, just a lil tail tale of mine.
Maybe it's time to try find another chat system? Cos the MSN one is blocking out a lot of users, and although it is very cool and everything, its kinda annoying to get into =/

lol I love how people are replying to this 5 years later. But I love QA chat and I'm in there often.
