Blog Entry: I feel pretty...oh so pretty....

I feel pretty...oh so pretty.... Let's establish one thing first: When it comes to makeup, I SUCK at putting it on. Which is one of the reasons I don't wear it often. Also, I usually can't be bothered.

But today I felt really gross, so I tried (in vain) to put on some concealer.

Then my roommate took over. She did my makeup, plucked my fuzzy eyebrows, and did my hair.

And you know what? I feel rather fabulous.

Which is weird. Because I've always sort of reveled in my masculinity. But today I'm feeling very feminine and I like it. I think I posted a similar blog a few months ago.

I've been having a lot of really interesting emotions since I came to college. For some reason, stuff that was happening two years ago keeps coming up in my brain and I'm not sure why. I've been finding myself fighting NOT to be stressed (which hasn't been working as well as I thought) and for the last week or so, I've felt like a total mess.

But today I feel fine. And not just as in, "I feel fine," but like, "Dayumn, I am one fiiiiiiiine chica."

Okay, maybe not quite so much.

But still. I think I'm starting to meet a part of me that I've been hiding. The pretty part. And I'm not just talking about exterior beauty here.

I want to expand on this feeling. I want to view life as a beautiful person, and spread that beauty wherever I go.

They say outer beauty has to start with inner beauty, but maybe it can sometimes work the other way around?
