Love, are you there? LOVE ARE YOU THERE?

Love, are you there?

Do you even know my name?

I feel your presence,

so close and yet still so far away.



Love, why do you tease me,

set up false hopes?

Do you feel no guilt?

You send glimpses of you.

And yet you disappear,

leaving me dark and cold.



Love, where lies your warmth?

The same sensation that brightens life,

catches you when your falling;

wraps you in hope, and drowns you

in happiness.



These mortal questions blind us.

Aren't we in fact masters

of our own destiny?

Why do we wait around,

wait for the path of least resistance?



Open your eyes!

Love is all around,

but its own path it follows.



Open your heart!

Don't resist!

Take it in, for it revives the soul.

It may lie in shadows, turns its

back, and makes you fall.

Its rough, yet gentle,

hard yet easy.
