Blog Entry: Bronchitis and Some Poetry

Bronchitis and Some Poetry So, if you've been talking to me in the past week, you probably know I've been sick. Sorry to report that, despite all the well-wishes (thanks for those, by the way. They really mean a lot!), I've not only not gotten better, but I've gotten worse. I'm pretty sure my cold has moved into bronchitis, which I'd pretty much be okay with (it actually happens a lot when I have a cold) but I've been coughing so much my ribs hurt just from breathing. I've also been missing school, which is really bad because we have block schedule. But oh well.

Speaking of school, I joined creative writing club, and I'm super psyched about it. Last meeting was a lot of fun, and I've gotten a lot of ideas. Being around creative people always puts me in a creative mood for some reason. But it's brilliant and I'm just hoping I'm well enough Monday to go...

You know what I've just realized? I'm really into English related things. Speech and Debate? SIGN ME UP! Clubs? Pssh, we'll write circles around your club! Class? "But, Ms., You've totally forgotten the time frame of the piece and that, due to the sarcastic nature of the author that this can't be taken literally at all. NOW SOMEONE HAND ME A NOVEL TO ANALYSE!" XD Oh well. Lately my focus has been mostly on my poetry like I said. I want to get all one hundred prompts (check my last post) filled out. So far I only have 8 that I've picked out. I have to go through my other poems to get the ones I want and then write some more of course! But either way, it's really good stuff. Ah, language. Speaking, writing, throwing letters at people until they submit to your victory...

Did I mention I might have a fever? Because fevers make me a little weird... Well, more weird than normal.
