Flan isn't fancy! Here's how to do it. And, really, you can do it! So you can make your friends think that you're rich and fancy
Heat up the oven in 350 degrees
-1 cup of sugar
*That, you put in a pot and heat fire on medium (until it looks all golden, but get it off soon or else it burns and tastes weird)Then, you immediately pour it in the mold you'll make the flan.
-1 can of condensed milk
-1 can of evaporated milk
-2 teaspoons of vanilla
*All this goes in the blender until well blended. Then you pour it on top of the already hardened caramel (that sugar you probably just burned)
You put the mold in a bowl with water (please, don't drown the flan, the water cannot be too much because it will boil). You put a timer for 45 minutes and when it rings, you insert a knife in the flan. If nothing comes out, you get the flan out and put it in the fridge for more than 5 hours. (a whole night is better)
*For pumpkin flan: replace ONE teaspoon of vanilla for 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and one cup of mashed pumpkin. (best if eaten in winter)
*And if you wanna have a coffee flan, replace the cinnammon and pumpkin for 2 cups of already made unsweetened black coffee. (for any occasion)
