Blog Entry: "Gauges" fixing my stupidity!

"Gauges" fixing my stupidity! Firstly, I'm bitching about my teeth again. I need a root canal but apparently it's a really easy, not so painful thing to have done. It's happening on the 16th, my day off, followed by another day off. I'm on antibiotics for a possible infection they think I have, so I'm sure this will rip my stomach apart and I'm nomming lots of yogurt because of the possible yeast infection I could end up with. So thats all just a giant ball of suck.

The good news! I'm resting my lobes right now and figured, after my last blog about my stupidity, I'd do one with the update on what I'd done and how it's all healing.
Lets start with my left lobe. Its a little dry but I got a new bottle of vitamin E oil, rubbed it in real good and now it's much better! The plumbers tape I'm now using to stretch my ear slides in nice and smooth. I actually wrapped up about two layers today instead of one and only had the mildest warm sensation in my lobe that went away quickly. It looks wonderful, no cats ass, no more irritated red color. Just happy lobe! And the 7/16th plug slid right in today as well. So new goal size achieved on one side!
My right lobe is... Sooo much better. I downsized back to 00 and when I'm not working out or am just letting it rest with nothing it in. Twice a day salt water soaks are also keeping it nice and happy. The swelling is all gone, its happily oiled. Still a little irritated but thats to be expected. More so with the cut inside it thats been oozing some lymph and what not.
I couldn't get pictures of the actual damage but I have one the day I injured it and one from today that I might tack onto here for my own amusement.

So kids, a lesson in stretching your ears right not "gauging" them like immature kids with no patience to get to one or several inches.
And if you do screw them up? Well do what I did! Undo all the bad, baby them, love them and your lobes will heal and love you back.
Hopefully someone has learned something from my dumbass.
