I Am Emery Now I am Emery now.

My real name is Emma Maria, but Emery is what you can call me as a combination of the two.

Emma is the name my parents gave me, but Emery is the name I give myself. The person right here, typing on this computer right now, with all of the private sorrows and secret joys and grand glorious unattainable dreams of a fourteen-year-old whose life is just beginning - that is Emery.

I am Emery.

On this day, the twenty-first of June, 2012, let it be said that Emery was (fearfully, wonderfully) made.
