that things turned out

the way they did.

that you and I

just couldn't be.

that you decided

it wasn't worth it

and didn't bother

to tell me.

you turned your back

on everything

but you know,

it wasn't really my fault.

I'm sorry

because I loved you

or at least I thought I did.

I'm sorry

because you weren't the guy

I thought you were

and it's too late now

to make it right.
