Blog Entry: My Movie Moment

My Movie Moment I'm sorry, this turned out longer than I thought it would, bare with me.

Okay, so there is this guy that I REALLY like, but I had never acted on it because I thought he was straight. I mean, yeah we would hang out all the time, but I just thought we were real close friends.

The other day, he decided that he wanted to go people watch at the mall and asked if I wanted to come with him. I, of course, said yes. We hung out for a while, just walking around looking at things, when I decide I'm hungry. We head over to the food court, but he stops. I'm wondering, "What the hell is wrong with him?" So, I walk over and ask what's wrong.

He answers with, "Caleb, I'm so nervous about what I'm about to do." I'm starting to get worried that he's about to pull out a gun or something. Then he says, "Caleb, dude, We've been friends for a long time. I really want it to stay that way, but with a bit more. I... Uh, I think I m-m-might be in... I think I love you!"

I couldn't believe my ears. Did Justin, the guy I've been crushing on, just say that he love me? He then procedes to pull me close and whispers, "I want to be your boyfriend so badly. Oh my God!! You have no idea how long I've wanted to tell you that!" Keep in mind, we are in the middle of the mall, in the food court, of all places. The food court is always the most crowded place EVER!

I'm so overwhelmed that I can't even form words. I think he noticed because he then proceded to kiss me. It. Was. Magical. A true movie moment. My body just gives out. He is literally holding me up so I don't fall. He pulls away and tells me that no matter what happens, he will always be here for me. He makes sure I'm alright and asks me what I want to eat from the Chinese place.

He comes back with the food and we talk about why he never told anyone about his feelings towards men. He was really afraid that his parents weren't going to accept him. He had actually told them the night before that he was going to ask me out. They literally had yelled in unison "FINALLY!!" He told me that they said they had known that he liked me for a while, and that they were elated to find out that he was conjuring up the courage to ask me out.

Well, I just thought I would let you know about my big movie moment. I apologize for the length, though.
