Blog Entry: Slowly Coming Out (as what I really Am)

Slowly Coming Out (as what I really Am) I see the confusion in their eyes.

People here are used to almost every possible kind of sexual and gender identity variability.

My girlfriend is introducing me to this lesbian couple. They're cute. It's the first time I go out with a girl's name.

"She's Nina"
... ...
-_- -_-
... ...

"Hi...Nina"

40 minutes later, while I'm out for a cigarette:

"But he's a GUY! What's his real name?"

It's gonna be tough. Bloody tough.

PS. I guess nobody reads what I write.

I am just at the beginning. I've been a boy for 21 years. I've come to accept the fact that I am a lesbian. Of course I had to conceive the fact that it is possible to be a lesbian born inside a male body first. And that's something really hard, because - at first - it just doesn't make sense.

Next week I'll go to a psychologist to talk about this stuff, and in a few months I might be taking hormones to change my sex aspects.
It is not inertia alone that is responsible for human relationships repeating themselves from case to case, indescribably monotonous and unrenewed: it is shyness before any sort of new, unforeseeable experience with which one does not think oneself able to cope. But only someone who is ready for everything, who excludes nothing, not even the most enigmatical will live the relation to another as something alive. (R.M.Rilke)
