goin back into the closet -__- i feel like such a terrible person. im kinda being forced back into the closet. its a super long story. but so im pretending to like this guy jus so people think im straight...i thought i was fine with everyone thinkin i liked girls, but wen it came between my squad and i. i cudnt let my own feeling get in the way...they were all awks around me and not wantin to be in my stunt group and stuff. and it was hurting my squad...i kno im doin the right thing for my squad, but then why do i feel so bad. i jus wanna cry. I kno i shudnt care wat they think, but cheerleading is a contact sport and if girls are gonna be awks around me i have to do wat is for the good of the team. im a captain, i want my squad to be the best it can be but if girls arent trustin me or are uncomfortable around me then we cant stunt.

Can't imagine why you'd want to be part of a squad who couldn't support you like that. Isn't that less healthy for the squad? I don't think that's a good idea but then again, that is just my opinion. I hope you find peace with whatever decision you make.

im apart of the squad cuz theyre my family. we may hate eachother and not like everyone but wen we put on our uniforms and bows we are a family. im finally varsity captain, and i love my coach to death. shes like a second mom. i cud never quit on her. plus cheerleading is my life without it i wud b nothing

How close are you to them exactly? Because I think that once someone gets to know WHO you are and whatnot, then the WHAT part shouldn't bother them...

It is truly sad that your squad treats you that way because of your sexual orientation. Have you talked with your coach? I'm not sure where you're from, but most schools have a person on hand who can talk the girls through it if they are feeling weird about it.

In the end, you should do what makes you happy. I don't exactly like the idea of you hiding yourself just to be a part of a team that doesn't support you at all times, but I understand your passion.

People just don't understand how it works! Just because you are a lesbian does not mean you fancy every single female you set eyes on. Maybe you could explain this to them, along with telling them how upset you are about everything. Perhaps talking to your coach would help.

i have explained it to them. but at my school we dont have many lgbt pple. we have me and then one other gay guy, or atleast thats all i kno of. my school is like super ghetto and stuff. and my coach knows wats goin on kinda but not the full extent of it. but im the best back spot/base on the squad and before pple knew i was gay all the flyers wanted to b in my stunt group but now they dont and my coach doesnt exactly kno why...but theres nothin she can do bout it cuz were allowed to have our own opinons bout things thats one of our rules
