My mom has never really been accepting of me liking girls, but today something changed.
I was talking to my mom on Facebook and out of the blue she said Shelby and I can come stay with her for whatever reason. My heart just lifted and I wish I could have hugged her, She then said we could even live with her if we wanted and that she's trying to be more open minded. My eyes teared up. I've been waiting for 5 years for her to do this. Be accepting and be open minded. This made my day. Maybe there is hope that she will come to my wedding when I someday have one. That she will want to be around her grandkids. That she will want to meet Shelby and love her as much as I do.
