Blog Entry: A Way to Calm Myself...
Entry
A Way to Calm Myself...
Cutting really does help me calm down. If I'm upset, or stressed, out comes my razor! I feel like I'm speaking about this kind of nonchalantly, but that's probably because I'm on a tiny bit of a high from the fifteen or so cuts I made on my arm... Anyway. I know people think it's unhealthy and shit, but if I'm not suicidal and it helps me deal with issues on my own, then I don't see what's so wrong about it. I did leave my wrist alone this time though, instead i kind of attacked my shoulder. So... yeah. They sting/burn right now and I know they'll be fucking sore tomorrow, but I think it was worth it. I'm not freaking out or crying anymore, which is good. Phew. -takes deep breath and looks for an un-awkward way to end this- Well ummm, bye I guess.

Even if you're not suicidal, self harm isn't the answer, there are so many other calming techniques to use.
Even if you see nothing wrong with it, there is. You can get infections, get sick, hit a vein...
The list goes on and on..
Don't wait too long to get help, I didn't think anything was wrong with it either, and it took over my life.
Don't let the same happen to you .-.<3

You're going to do what you're You're going to do
Cutting is not the right solution
But I have no room to judge you
My only request is that you do it as safe and intelligent as possible
This means full sterilization (cleaning of the skin, tool, and wound)
You should also consider not going deep
And stay away from areas that any job interviewer could see in your future if it scars
I would also suggest away from vital areas
Although you're just releasing tension one simple mistake could cost you your life
One small infection could cost you your life
If it's worth all that work then to each their own
If your not going to do it safely then you shouldn't do it at all
I'm not a nice person,
But I'm a good person

@Dylan/Amanda: I have yet to find a way that works as well for me... I know that it's probably really stupid, but for now I'm content with the way I take care of things. I'm always very careful to clean things and not cut to deep. I know that this solution is only temporary, but for now it works for me and I'm just taking things one day at a time. I know it really is a problem and I just deny that it is... I'll get it taken care of eventually. But thanks!
@Noel: Yes. Haha they fit better with my less depressing posts, though~
@Ash: I've taken to cutting up on my shoulder instead of my wrists for some of those reasons. The shirts I wear cover the scars and it's away from major veins. I also clean the razor after I use it every time and was the cuts. Because I'm not suicidal and it's just for stress/sadness relief, I try to be as safe as possible. It's worth it for me until I can find a better solution, and thanks for the advice And for not judging
~love everyone~
