Stevie Is writing a Play!!! Hey people of QA! It is I Stevie

Long story short My drama teacher is helping me out of the closet and so for the next assignment we must write/direct/preform a play/section of a play of our choosing. Well since I am working on the closet thing he thought it would be a good idea to write a scrip where a bi/gay friend (me) comes out to her other friend (bi curious(lets name her Abbie)). The start dating and everything is going great until Abbie finds a guy who she really likes and (possibly) sleeps with him. This of corse upsets my character and we get into a huge fight which ends our relationship and our friendship. She starts hanging out with her bitchy friends to regain popularity (after being in a gay relationship) and completely egnores my character. She is sad and upset when her other friends talk about gossup and keep putting me down (we were best friends for a long time before) eventually she desides to come back to me. But at that point its to late. I had run away and am sitting at a bus stop waiting to go to New York to start my life over without her. After frantically searching for me she finds me and we talk. We make up she relizes that she dosn’t care about her social standing in high school because she cares more about me (as a friend) it ends as we both walk home after a big bear hug.

So that is the story line, and to make it better its going to be a musical So we are going to sing/attempt to sing/mouth the words. Thats where I need your help. I need song ideas for sections of the script. If they are from musicals its even better.

A. I start having feelings for my best friend (Jessies girl? Possibly)

B. Coming out to her.

C. While we are secrativly dating (sorta a love
song)

D. We run into some problems

E. She is uncomftorable and ends the relationship (maybe because she met a boy)

F. EPIC fight song

G. She is missing me while with her other friends, I miss her (duet each character on one side of the stage singing but not aware of eachother)

H. A reunion song

I. Best friends again / nothing can stop us now/
ending song.

Other information.... Its abotu 10-15 minuites in length, the songs will only be 20 - 1:30 seconds in lenght (only parts of the song) there are 2 actors who are the leads and we can get more people as needed. But yea thanks everyone!!!!! I am coming out in style (and if they don’t pick up on it I will just tell them anyways )
