Blog Entry: RE Class and Holocaust Questions

RE Class and Holocaust Questions Weeeeelllll....
Yesterday was quite interesting really. Rather depressing too, but still.

In RE class we were discussing the holocaust and how the Jews were persecuted when one of my class mates asked "Why didn't the Jews lie about what they were?". Everyone in my class knows about my sexuality so I decided to try to explain.
"Lying about who you are is extremely difficult. It can drive you nearly insane, it's horrible to be honest. That's probably why the Jews didn't lie about who they were."
The class pretty much shut up after I said that.
All except my friend.
She, when everyone went silent, decided to ask a question.
"Well how would YOU know this?"
I burst out laughing then looked at her weirdly. "Really, girl?" *Facepalm*
