Blog Entry: Interesting (good) week at school!!

Interesting (good) week at school!! So I had a pretty good/interesting week at school this past week. Some things that happened were really random but they were just some highlights of my week that made me smile so I wanted to share The most amazing one is the last one.

1. I walked into My Alg. 2 class on Tuesday and found this little message on my desk, "welcoming" me to class

2. My honors chemistry teacher posted this picture on the projector at school and thought it was AMAZING because I'm a die hard Gaga fan X)

3. I was judging some freshmen debaters in forensics (we're teaching them Public Forum Debate) and the resolution this month is "The United States should suspend all aid to Pakistan" and one of the pieces of evidence the Pro team used said that Pakistan was using our aid incorrectly and it gave the most amazing example ever. Get ready for it. "Pakistan used upward of $1million to recreate an episode of sesame street" I laughed SOOO hard!!

4. And for the most amazing thing that happened this week. Today in math my friend started talking to me about me straightening my hair, and she kinda started laughing because its "weird that a guy straightens his hair and actually KNOWS how to" (She thought my mom or sister did it for me...) when she said it was weird for a guy to straighten his hair I replied with, "Why? Because its not within your little box of hetero-normativity that conforms to societies norms of typical gender binaries pushing people to conform to stereotypes and making people afraid to be themselves?" She just kinda looked at me and said, "point taken," and turned around and started working on the HW. I must say, I felt pretty awesome after that!

So it's been a pretty good week for once I'm starting to be me again and it's really nice. For over a year I've been this really depressed person who has been becoming more and more of an introvert but now I'm starting to be me again! YAY!
