The chat rooms are friendly and our Terms & Conditions are enforced. All chat logs are recorded and periodically reviewed so it's important that members do not view the chat room as somewhere private -- it is not. Access to the QA Chat must be earned by new members; it is not available from the outset. The QA Forums are the most important part of our community and indeed the most visible, so our policy reflects that. Our aim is to avoid a scenario whereby a subset of the membership is only known in the chat rooms. QA Chat is an important and valued aspect of our site, however, and we are happy to offer this feature. Happy chatting! |
